HARMAN Professional Solutions Brings Five-Star Sound to Grand Mercure Yangon Golden Empire Hotel

YANGON, Myanmar—Ghin Gar Cherry Trading Co. recently upgraded the Grand Mercure Yangon Golden Empire hotel with a complete HARMAN Professional Solutions audio system.

After its debut in Asia Pacific nearly 20 years ago, Grand Mercure now operates a network of more than 50 upscale hotels and resorts globally under the international chain AccorHotels. The hotel is located in Yangon’s Dagon Industrial Zone and features a panoramic view of the city from its topmost floor. It boasts of its 175 elegantly designed guest rooms and suites with hand-painted ceilings by local artist Pyar Dade. In addition, there are 7 meeting spaces and 2 ballrooms that can host corporate and social gatherings up to 300 guests. The entire facility required a building-wide audio system with full-range sound, energy-efficient amplification and compact, streamlined mixing solutions. To meet the hotel’s requirements, audio contractor Ghin Gar Cherry Trading Co. installed an end-to-end HARMAN audio system consisting of JBL Control Series speakers, Crown DriveCore amplifiers and Soundcraft mixers.

To deliver crystal-clear sound throughout the facility, Ghin Gar Cherry Trading Co. selected JBL Control 12C/T compact ceiling loudspeakers. In addition to providing full-range audio with excellent coverage, the Control 12C/T’s pre-attached blind-mount backcan simplifies the installation process and its low-profile, paintable baffle integrates seamlessly with any décor. Compact and energy-efficient Crown DCi 8|600 amplifiers power the speakers, each providing 600 Watts for ample headroom and eight channels for maximum flexibility. Soundcraft FX16ii mixers provide a powerful yet compact and streamlined solution for mixing sound during events in the ballrooms.

IFC Seoul Creates a World-Class Meeting Space with HARMAN Professional Solutions

SEOUL, South Korea—The International Finance Center Seoul recently partnered with TechData Co., Ltd. to install a HARMAN Professional Solutions networked AV system in The Forum at IFC for meetings, conferences and more.

The International Finance Center Seoul (IFC Seoul) is a large commercial complex containing the Conrad Seoul hotel, the IFC Mall and three IFC office buildings. Located inside the complex's smallest building, The Forum at IFC is a world-class meeting space for executive seminars, board meetings and more. In order to meet the needs of various industry professionals, IFC Seoul recently decided to upgrade the existing AV system in The Forum. After consulting with industry-leading distributors TechData Co., Ltd., IFC Seoul installed a HARMAN networked AV system.

“The Forum at IFC Seoul requested a state-of-the-art AV system capable of delivering latency-free video conferencing and audio recording,” said Mark Shin, Technical Engineer, TechData Co., Ltd. “In order to create a system powerful enough to meet their needs, yet simple enough for the staff to operate without a professional engineer, we decided to create a solution using HARMAN’s class-leading products.”

To deliver immersive sound in The Forum, TechData deployed a line array of column loudspeakers, including JBL Intellivox HP-DS170, Intellivox DC115 and CBT 100LA-1 speakers. For added depth, TechData installed JBL Control 18C/T ceiling-mounted loudspeakers. JBL AC15 and EON610 loudspeakers on the walls provide balanced coverage throughout the facilities. The system is powered with Crown XTi 2002 and XTi 1002 amplifiers. A versatile Soundcraft Si Performer 1 mixing console provides advanced processing for audio and DMX signals.

TechData utilized an array of AMX products to provide complete control over the system. AMX NMX-ENC-N1122, NMX-ENC-N1115-WP, NMX-DEC-N12222 and NMX-WP-N1512 processors provide HDMI-quality video and audio over IP. The AMX NMX-ENC H.264 encoder captures live video recordings directly to a USB hard drive. To complete the setup, the AMX SC-N8001 AV control system was installed along with NX-3200, EXB-IRS4, and EXB-REL8 control interfaces. An MSD-1001 wall mount touch panel offers intuitive control over all devices in the network.

WJHW and Parsons Bring HARMAN Professional Solutions Lighting and Audio Systems to Milwaukee Bucks’ New Arena

MILWAUKEE, Wis.—Parsons Technologies and WJHW recently outfitted the Milwaukee Bucks’ newly-built Fiserv Forum arena with state-of-the-art HARMAN Professional Solutions audio and lighting systems to deliver a high-energy experience at basketball games, concerts and more.

Opened in August 2018, the Fiserv Forum is a 714,000 square-foot arena built to replace the aging BMO Harris Bradley Center as the home of the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team. The venue, a $524 million project, seats up to 18,000 fans and contains 34 suites and three clubs. In addition to NBA games, the venue also hosts concerts by renowned musical acts ranging from KISS to Mumford and Sons, as well as international touring productions like Cirque de Soleil and Monster Jam. Consulting group Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams (WJHW) worked with Parsons Technologies and Theatrical Lighting Designer Ian Hoffer to equip the Forum with state-of-the-art HARMAN AV equipment including JBL loudspeakers, Crown amplifiers, BSS signal processors and Martin lighting fixtures.

“Parsons provided and installed the AV systems for this venue, both back-of-house and bowl, as well as the broadcast cable system,” said Erik Carlson, Construction Executive at Parsons Technologies. “HARMAN worked with us to ensure competitive pricing, on-time delivery and great operational systems for both owner satisfaction and fan experience.”

Much of the excitement at the Fiserv Forum comes from its dynamic theatrical lighting, which produces dazzling displays at halftime shows and concerts. The arena’s main fixtures are 12 Martin MAC Viper AirFX 1000W lamps, which provide a wide variety of effects with multiple gobo wheels and bright CMY color mixing. The Viper fixtures’ included frost filter also provides soft washes of color, increasing their versatility. Eight Martin MAC Axiom Hybrid fixtures supplement the Vipers, providing high-intensity beam and spot lighting with a remarkable zoom range of 2-44°. Four Atomic 3000 LED strobes mounted at the corners of the scoreboard project bright, pulsing strobe effects onto the court below.

“I've been doing this for 25 years, so I chose fixtures that I knew would be reliable, work well and look good,” said Theatrical Lighting Designer Ian Hoffer. “Martin is known for reliable fixtures—they last. They need to operate every night, and it's not the kind of thing you can just run up to the ceiling and take down, so I wanted something that would last for a long time.”

The Fiserv Forum’s sound system is a fully integrated network of HARMAN audio solutions. The main arrays, hung above the central scoreboard, consist of over 90 JBL VTX V20 line array loudspeakers supplemented by ASB6128V subwoofers for powerful, arena-filling sound. A range of specialized JBL loudspeakers provide additional coverage wherever the main arrays don’t reach, including the ultra-focused AM5212, the compact AC15 and the AC28/26 with extra-wide coverage. For general audio distribution throughout the rest of the venue, Parsons installed a range of JBL Control Series in-ceiling and pendant-style loudspeakers.

Crown DCi amplifiers power the expansive audio system, sending powerful, high-fidelity signal with ample headroom to all speakers. BLU Link technology allows the amplifiers to communicate with the arena’s networked BSS signal processors, which route signal throughout the system with a flexible digital architecture and powerful DSP. Together, the JBL, Crown and BSS audio solutions form a comprehensive networked system which delivers impactful sound throughout the arena.

Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University Creates Impressive Showcase Space with HARMAN Professional Solutions

CHANTHABURI, Thailand—Mahajak Development Co. Ltd. recently outfitted Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University’s main auditorium with a state-of-the-art HARMAN networked audio and lighting system.

Established in 1972, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University is a non-profit higher education institution located in Chanthaburi, Thailand. The university offers graduate and undergraduate degree programs in a wide range of disciplines. In order to ensure top-tier production quality for student programs and events in the main auditorium, the university hired Mahajak Development to supply an end-to-end HARMAN networked AV system that could be easily controlled by staff and students.

“The university needed a simple but dynamic audiovisual solution to produce impactful events for students and guests,” said Pongsakorn Kanchanachayphoom, Project Director, Mahajak Development Co. Ltd. “Taking into account the school’s request for a user-friendly system, we selected a comprehensive HARMAN system for its superior sound quality, unrivaled flexibility and intuitive controls.”

Mahajak delivered rich and accurate sound reinforcement in the auditorium with JBL Control 2PS/230 compact loudspeakers, and provided full and balanced coverage with JBL Control 14 C/T and 16 C/T in-ceiling speakers. All speakers were powered with reliable Crown CDi 1000, XLS 2502, MA 5000i and XTi 4002 amplifiers. For control over the audio system, the Mahajak team installed a Soundcraft Si Expression 3 audio mixer. The entire system is networked via a BSS Soundweb London BLU-100 digital audio processor.

In order to ensure proper lighting for all events, Mahajak equipped the auditorium with an array of Martin Professional lighting fixtures. RUSH MH1 Profile and MH 2 Wash fixtures deliver excellent visual effects, while PAR 1 RGBW fixtures produce spectacular dimming and strobe effects. The entire lighting system is easily controlled with Martin M2PC software, one of the most powerful PC-based lighting controllers on the market.

“We wanted to install a modern AV system with enough flexibility to handle events of any size,” said a spokesperson from Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University. “We asked Mahajak to design a future-proof AV system that not only offers intuitive control features but also provides effective communication and collaboration tools. SHANGHAI—ACE Film & TV recently outfitted SFC Yonghua Cinema City with a state-of-the-art Samsung Onyx Led Cinema Screen and JBL Sculpted Surround™ audio system.

Earlier this year, Wanda International Cinema sparked great excitement among moviegoers in Shanghai and beyond when it unveiled China’s first Onyx movie theater. Inspired by popular response to this revolutionary format, SFC Yonghua Cinema City has become the second facility in China to open a Samsung Onyx theater. In order to deliver premium audio quality in their new Onyx theater and throughout the rest of their facility, SFC Yonghua Cinema City hired local technology provider ACE Film & TV to install state-of-the-art JBL Sculpted Surround cinema speakers and Crown networked power amplifiers. SHANGHAI—Chinese opera star Zhang Jun’s recent production “Shuimo Xindiao” featured JBL VTX Series loudspeakers and Crown amplifiers, which delivered premium audio to an arena packed with 10,000 music fans.

As a UNESCO Artist for Peace, Zhang Jun strives to keep the 600-year-old tradition of KunQu opera alive. His latest production, “Shuimo Xindiao” (New Tunes of the Water Mill), reinvented classical melodies with modern pop instrumentation, including guitar, violin, saxophone and electronic elements. The performance took place at Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena.

To convey the subtlety of KunQu with the intensity of pop music, the production required a cutting-edge sound system with unparalleled power and clarity. In order to deliver world-class sound for the performance, event crews deployed a JBL VTX line array system consisting of VTX A12, V25 and V20 loudspeakers, S28 and G28 subwoofers, and Crown I-Tech HD amplifiers.

Due to the immense size of the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the production needed a sound system that could provide even coverage throughout the entire venue and bring high-quality sound to every seat. The HARMAN Professional system was comprised of 28 VTX V25 loudspeakers for the main arrays, 30 VTX A12 loudspeakers for side fills, six VTX V20 loudspeakers for center fills. Subwoofers included 16 S28 subwoofers suspended with the main arrays and eight G28 models stacked at ground level. The entire system was powered by a network of Crown I-Tech HD amplifiers.

Ghin Gar delivered exceptional audio performance throughout the hotel’s event spaces using an array of JBL speakers. JBL Control 321CT and Control 312CS ceiling speakers enabled the Ghin Gar team to seamlessly integrate crystal-clear audio into each room’s unique architectural and aesthetic features. Ghin Gar outfitted the main ballroom with JBL VRX 938LAP speakers, delivering powerful line array performance for high-profile events. Ghin Gar also included JBL EON 515XT, LSR 2328P and CBT 100LA speakers for events that require more flexible or portable sound reinforcement.

The speaker systems are powered by Crown CDi 1000, XLS 802 and LPS 2500 amplifiers, and optimized with dbx DriveRack 260 loudspeaker management systems. Events at Novotel Yangon Max benefit from AKG CS3 conference microphone systems, which utilize a modular design and interchangeable microphones for maximum flexibility in any conference situation. Finally, Ghin Gar included Soundcraft FX16ii and EXF12 analog mixers and a Soundcraft Si Expression 3 digital mixing console, enabling Novotel Yangon Max’s staff to quickly dial in polished, professional-sounding mixes for events of any size.

Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Elevates Worship Experience with HARMAN Professional Solutions

LOS ANGELES—Mount Moriah Baptist Church recently collaborated with Guitar Center Professional and Streamline System Designs to upgrade their sanctuary with a HARMAN Professional Solutions networked audio solution.

Mount Moriah Baptist Church has been bringing people together to celebrate their faith since 1946. In order to provide pristine sound quality during services and performances, Mt. Moriah Church recently decided to upgrade their outdated PA system. Together with Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro) and leading commercial installers Streamline System Designs, Mt. Moriah Church deployed a full HARMAN Professional Solutions networked audio solution including JBL VRX932LA and PRX812W loudspeakers, VRX918S and ASB6128 subwoofers, Soundcraft Si Impact and Performer 3 mixing consoles, Crown amplifiers and BSS signal processors.

“Mt. Moriah Baptist Church has a long-standing history with music, so I wanted to make sure the PA had some oomph,” said Kurtis Ewing, Senior Account Manager, GC Pro. “We went with the VRX series because we wanted to be able to get the most clarity while still being able to give them the power that they needed. The Soundcraft consoles offer quick and easy connectivity with the Ethernet stage boxes. The amps feature built-in signal processing for dialing in the system. The whole system has worked out perfectly.”

Streamline System Designs equipped the sanctuary with state-of-the-art JBL VRX932LA-1 line array loudspeakers for their flat frequency response and high output levels. JBL VRX918S and ASB6128 subwoofers provide balanced low frequency response throughout the facilities. JBL PRX812W floor monitors deliver clear, intelligible sound for performers and speakers on stage. The system is powered with Crown DCi 4|2400N and DCi 2|2400N amplifiers.

A Soundcraft Si Performer 3 digital mixing console offers flexible front-of-house mixing with on-board signal processing. The Performer 3 also features a built-in DMX 512 controller, allowing users to operate sound and lighting from the same console. An optional Soundcraft CAT5 MADI card and BSS BLU-SI BLU link card allow for quick and easy connectivity with the Soundcraft 5031234 compact stagebox. BSS BLU-50 signal processors offer simple signal routing throughout the facilities.

In order to allow for a separate broadcast mix, Streamline System Designs installed a Soundcraft Si Impact digital mixing console, which provided flexible routing capabilities and intuitive workflow.

“We wanted to give our sanctuary a facelift and create a more user-friendly system for recording and live-streaming our services,” said Quaford Coleman, Church Administrator, Mt. Moriah. “We visit those who are sick or cannot come to worship and share our recorded services with them. We also share those recordings with other institutions that we support. That has been very vital to us.”

“One of the challenges we faced as the integrator was we couldn't shut the system down for Sunday service, so we had to remove the old gear and install the new gear between services” said Bob Allen, Senior Vice President, Streamline System Designs. “We didn't want them to be down for any service, and yet we also wanted to meet their deadline. The fact that all of the HARMAN products are engineered to work together was a great time saver. We knew when we put the console together with the VFX processor it was going to send the right signal to the other devices. Having the HARMAN advantage brought us a lot of confidence in the installation.”

In order to provide a one-of-a-kind casino experience, Casino on Phu Quoc hired Vietnam’s premier AV distributor, BaSao Investment Co. Ltd., to install a cutting-edge networked audio solution. Leveraging years of experience with audio systems, BaSao Investment created a custom solution comprised of JBL loudspeakers, Crown power amps, BSS signal processors, and an AKG microphone.

BaSao outfitted the casino with JBL CSS8006BM full-range loudspeakers, as well as Control 24CT and Control 26CT ceiling loudspeakers to play music throughout the venue. The system is powered by Crown DCi 2|300N, DCi 4|600N, DCi 4|300N, DCi 8|300N, and DCi 2|600N power amplifiers.

BSS BLU-806, BLU100, and BLU-10-BLK signal processors are used for routing audio to separate zones throughout the casino. The audio system is connected via Dante AV networking and is integrated with the existing video system using core networking services. To facilitate various announcements within the venue, Ba Sao included the AKG CGN521 STS professional tabletop microphone.

SEOUL, South Korea—TechData Co. Ltd. recently provided Oryun Community Church in Seoul and its newly-built religious retreat, Oryun Vision Village, with end-to-end HARMAN Professional Solutions audio and control systems.

Founded in 1988, Oryun Community Church is a South Korean Christian organization that operates multiple churches and worship spaces in and around Seoul. The church’s primary facility is known as Oryun Vision Center, which regularly attracts thousands of people for Sunday masses. The organization also recently built a new religious retreat called Oryun Vision Village outside of Seoul, which is available for group rental and also serves as the church’s training center. Facilities at Vision Village include a chapel with 900- and 500-capacity worship spaces and two residence houses with private rooms, meeting spaces, offices and cafés. The grounds also feature a swimming pool, numerous fields and courts for outdoor activities and a serene walking path called the Vision Trail. Having had a positive experience with HARMAN products during their last renovation, Oryun Church recently hired TechData Co., Ltd. to design and install end-to-end HARMAN audio and control systems for both the Vision Center and Vision Village facilities.

"We were very satisfied with the HARMAN solutions we acquired in our 2015 renovation,” said Sunho Ju, Sound Director at Oryun Community Church. “Since Vision Village is not only our training center but also available for outside rental, we needed a solution that would be easy for anyone to use, including those who are less familiar with technology. TechData solved this by installing an AMX touch panel control system at Vision Village, which allows us to control our equipment with ease."

At Oryun Vision Center, TechData selected a combination of JBL VTX V20 and VT4886 line array loudspeakers with VTS S25 subwoofers to provide adequate power and coverage for the main sound reinforcement system. Two-way JBL AC15, AC18/26 and AM512/95 loudspeakers supplement the main system, providing high output and full-range sound in compact form factors with 5.25", 8" and 12" low-frequency drivers, respectively. Crown I-Tech 4x3500HD and 12000HD amplifiers, supplemented by DCi 8|600N and 2|600N models, provide plenty of power and headroom for the extensive sound system. BSS BLU-806 and BLU-50 signal processors form a powerful digital audio network that offers flexible routing and powerful DSP across the complex system.

On stage, AKG C568B shotgun microphones provide clean, isolated signals and WMS 420 wireless microphone kits give worship leaders and speakers freedom of movement while delivering crystal-clear sound. JBL VP7212MDP powered stage monitors ensure that everyone onstage can hear clearly, and musicians use dbx PMC16 personal monitor controllers to fine-tune their own monitor mixes. Church staff use Soundcraft Vi3000 and Si Expression 2 digital consoles and JBL LSR308 8" powered studio monitors to deliver clear, powerful live mixes for the congregation. TechData also included a JBL EON206P portable PA system for outdoor and remote events.

For Oryun Vision Village, TechData selected a similar range of HARMAN solutions. JBL VTX line array loudspeakers and subwoofers form the main sound system, with JBL M20 dual 10" powered monitors on stage. Crown I-Tech amplifiers and BSS BLU signal processors form a flexible audio network, controlled by compact yet powerful Soundcraft Vi1 and Si Impact digital mixers. AKG D5, C5 and C451 microphones deliver clear, high-fidelity sound on stage for a wide range of instruments and voices. To make the entire system easier to use, Tech Data installed AMX touch panel control systems for intuitive operation.

SEOUL, South Korea—Kinoton Korea recently outfitted CGV Yongsan with an array of premium HARMAN Professional Solutions cinema audio solutions to ensure immersive sound quality across all of the multiplex’s theaters.

As South Korea’s largest cinema chain operator, CJ CGV has a long history of introducing revolutionary innovations in the cinema industry in its home country and abroad. As of October 2018, CJ CGV boasts a total of 3,553 screens at 480 locations in seven countries across the globe and now CGV Yongsan I Park Mall is home to the largest IMAX Screen in the world, measuring 31 metres wide and 22.4 metres high. CGV Yongsan also houses the world’s first 4DX-Screen X combination theater. As part of recent renovations to keep the multiplex on the cutting edge, CGV Yongsan hired Kinoton Korea to replace the theaters’ aging sound systems with state-of-the-art JBL Professional speakers and Crown amplifiers.

In order to ensure enhanced soundtrack reproduction with unmatched accuracy, Kinoton Korea outfitted 18 of CGV Yongsan’s theaters with an array of JBL Professional cinema loudspeakers, subwoofers and surrounds. The wide range of JBL speakers enabled Kinoton to tailor the system response to each theater’s unique dimensions and deliver perfect coverage at every seat.

For the main front channels, Kinoton installed six JBL 5742 four-way ScreenArray cinema loudspeakers, 30 JBL 4732 three-way ScreenArray cinema loudspeakers and 34 JBL 3731 two-way ScreenArray cinema loudspeaker systems. Kinoton also installed 68 JBL 4642A subwoofers to ensure extended low frequency support. Additionally, Kinoton provided 14 JBL 8320 Compact Cinema Surround speakers, 12 JBL 9300 Cinema Surround speakers and 60 JBL 9310 Cinema Surround speakers to ensure deliver realistic three-dimensional audio. Kinoton powered the speaker systems with Crown DSi Series amplifiers. The reliable performance and onboard digital signal processing of the DSi Series amplifiers match perfectly with the JBL ScreenArray systems.

Shanghai Oriental Art Center Prepares for International Art Festival with HARMAN Professional Solutions Audio Systems

SHANGHAI—The Shanghai Oriental Art Center recently collaborated with HARMAN Professional Solutions and ACETEC Audio Amplifying System Technology Co. to upgrade their opera and concert halls with end-to-end HARMAN networked audio systems.

The Shanghai Oriental Art Center (SHOAC) is one of China’s leading cultural institutions, housed in a massive contemporary building shaped like a butterfly orchid with five petal-shaped wings. Each wing contains a different art or performance space, including a 1,900-seat Concert Hall with a built-in pipe organ, 1,000-seat Italian-style Opera Hall, 300-seat semicircular Performance Hall and an open, 250 square-meter Exhibition Hall, as well as a dedicated wing housing an antique music box collection.

The center also features large rehearsal spaces for music and dance, 11 piano training classrooms, a restaurant and a café. In advance of hosting the 21^st annual China International Art Festival this year, SHOAC decided to overhaul their facilities and audio systems to meet the festival’s “A-level” venue criteria. With just four months to complete the installation before the festival organizers’ deadline, SHOAC brought in HARMAN Professional Solutions and Shanghai ACETEC Audio Amplifying System Technology Co., who delivered and installed a state-of-the-art networked system of JBL, Crown, Studer and BSS audio solutions in record time.

In the remodeled Concert Hall, ACETEC installed 30 JBL VTX V20 line array loudspeakers for the main sound system. The V20’s integral mid/high waveguide provided precise vertical wavefront coupling and 105° horizontal dispersion for an optimal coverage pattern. The VTX series’ flexible suspension system allowed the speakers to be rigged and positioned quickly and safely, expediting the installation process. In the Opera Hall, ACETEC deployed over 40 AM7000-series loudspeakers from JBL’s Application Engineered Series. Designed for permanent installations, the AM7000-series loudspeakers provide full-range sound in two-way or three-way configurations, with or without subwoofers. All mid and high drivers feature rotatable Progressive Transition Waveguides for precise dispersion and wide coverage in a variety of setups, and all low-frequency drivers employ JBL’s innovative Differential Drive transducers.

For amplification, ACETEC installed Crown DCi and I-Tech power amplifiers, each suited to a different application. In the Concert Hall, 11 I-Tech amplifiers interface with the VTX line arrays via JBL HiQnet Performance Manager for precise configuration and remote control. 41 DCi-series amplifiers power the AM7000 loudspeakers in the Opera Hall, providing a modern, versatile networked solution with a compact footprint and high energy efficiency rating. Ten BSS BLU806DA signal processors route audio through a high-bandwidth digital audio network with low latency, powerful DSP, flexible I/O and Dante/AES67 connectivity.

ACETEC installed Studer VISTA X and VISTA V digital consoles for mixing, which combine powerful DSP capabilities with streamlined workflow features that help to make complex mixing tasks intuitive. Studer’s revolutionary Vistonics interface features knobs and controls built right into flat-screen displays, putting physical control and visual feedback in the same place. All faders are dynamically color-coded with Faderglow lighting, letting the user see the state of each track at a glance. Quad Star technology with four independent CPU cores provides the speed, stability and redundancy needed for the Art Center’s high-profile productions. The Concert Hall received the larger VISTA X, while the more compact VISTA V consoles were installed in the smaller halls.

While the Shanghai Oriental Art Center renovation was a large undertaking with a relatively short timeline for completion, coordination from multiple parties helped see the project through efficiently. HARMAN China leadership and HARMAN;s Pro Broadcast team worked directly with SHOAC to coordinate the purchase and delivery of the audio systems, while ACETEC performed the on-site installation and setup, in addition to providing technical support. With all parties communicating and working efficiently, the entire project took just two and a half months from contract signing to final installation.

DHA Sports Club Revamps its Stadium Audio System with HARMAN Professional Solutions

KARACHI, Pakistan—KYAF Corporation recently outfitted DHA Sports Club with a new complete HARMAN Professional Solutions sound system to provide an immersive audio experience on the field and in the stands.

Located in the heart of Karachi, DHA Sports Club is a state-of-the-art sports facility managed by renowned Pakistani cricket legend Moin Khan. As part of the facility’s mission to provide a place for young Pakistani athletes to develop their talents in a supportive environment, DHA Sports Club hired KYAF Corporation to upgrade their sound system with modern audio solutions. After careful consideration, KYAF Corporation and DHA Sports Club selected a complete HARMAN sound reinforcement system comprised of JBL Professional speakers, Crown amplifiers and AKG microphones.

“DHA Sports Club asked us to provide a high-quality audio system that would complement their beautiful sports facility and provide great coverage,” said Ahmed Bawaney, KYAF Corporation. “After we demonstrated the quality and performance of the HARMAN audio system, they gave us the green light to install all HARMAN Professional gear. We faced a few challenges during the installation—namely, the left side of the stadium is blocked by an apartment building, posing a potential for harmful reflections. In addition, the unusual architecture of the stadium posed challenges in the rigging of the speakers. The flexibility and clarity of the JBL speakers helped us overcome these challenges to provide perfectly clear sound throughout the stadium.“

To ensure premium audio quality and coverage throughout the facility’s stadium, KYAF installed eight JBL AWC82 all-weather compact speakers. In addition to being highly weather-resistant for use during all seasons, DHA Sports Club’s new AWC82 speakers provide extraordinary clarity for announcements and extended frequency response for powerful music playback. KYAF also included four JBL EON 615 portable PA speakers as on-field fills to ensure announcements and music can be heard by players on the field.

KYAF used Crown XLi 2500 amplifiers to provide rugged and reliable power to the JBL speaker system. In order to ensure maximum intelligibility and vocal sound quality for announcements, the KYAF team completed DHA Sports Club’s sound system with AKG WMS470 wireless handheld microphones and CGN521 STS tabletop microphones.

KHONKAEN, Thailand—Mahajak Development recently installed a complete, HARMAN Professional Solutions networked AV solution at Khonkaen International Convention and Exposition Center (KICE) to ensure premium audio quality for a wide range of events and conferences.

Located in the city of Khonkaen, KICE is one of the most popular and versatile venues in Northeastern of Thailand and will be the convention hub with facilities of the fastest internet speed, the highest AV Technology and premium interior design in this part of Thailand. KICE’s crown jewel is its nearly 150,700 square foot main exhibition hall with room-combined function as well as another 7 individual meeting rooms, which regularly hosts high profile events ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to exhibitions. In order to provide an immaculate guest experience at such a wide range of events, KICE recently hired Mahajak Development to install brand new audio system with HARMAN Professional networked AV system throughout the area, comprised of JBL speakers, Crown amplifiers, Soundcraft mixers, BSS processors and AMX SVSi matrix and controllers.

To achieve impactful audio within the acoustically-challenging exhibition hall, Krissada Vivatvakin, PhD, Managing Director of Atkrist, AV Consultant had designed the venue with JBL SCS12 two-way speakers, and Control 16C/T and 14C/T full-range ceiling speakers. The SCS12 speakers were deployed overhead installed for maximum clarity in main hall, while the Control 10 series speakers provide consistent coverage throughout each meeting room and Crown DriveCore Install Networked series multi-channel amplifiers were used to supply clean and reliable power to the entire JBL speaker system. To ensure great sounding mixes with intuitive control for a wide range of events, Atkrist included Dante-enabled Soundcraft Expression 1 and Expression 3 digital consoles, Signature 12 and Signature 16 analog mixers. KICE’s impressive inventory of Soundcraft mixers enables the staff to easily select the right board for events of any size.

The audio system is networked via a BSS Soundweb London BLU-806 with Dante and BLU-10 standalone wall controllers. While the visual system is networked and controlled by AMX NX-3200 NetLinx NX Integrated Controller with AMX SVSI N1000 series encoders and decoders to provide perfectly matrix and scaled HDMI video support, making it easy for KICE staff to select sources and adjust volume level in each zone of the large space.

The Opportunity

Constructed in 1993, Phrarajasatta Pavilion is a beloved addition to Wat Pathum Wanaram, a mid-19th century Buddhist temple in Bangkok. Religious devotees and general public alike use Phrarajasatta Pavilion as a sacred place to conduct daily Buddhist activities, including worship, meditation and dharma practice. The Solution

In order to enable staff and students to easily utilize audiovisual devices in the classroom, Bangkok Prep hired Mahajak Development Co. Mahajak installed JBL SRX715 two-way loudspeakers and an SRX718S satellite subwoofer system to provide comprehensive coverage and extended low-frequency output during live performances. JBL JRX112M two-way stage monitors deliver crystal-clear audio, making it easy for artists to hear themselves during performances. JBL Control 2P C2PS and CONTROL 24CT in-ceiling speakers are used to achieve high-quality sound in enclosed spaces like classrooms and auditoriums. The system is powered using Crown XTi -4000, CDi1000 and XLS402D amplifiers.

An AMX NX-2200 NetLinx NX Integrated Controller and PSR4.4 power supply are used to connect AV devices throughout the facility, while TPC-IPAD software allows users to control the entire system via Apple^®mobile devices. A dbx DriveRack 260 loudspeaker management system, AFS224 Advanced Feedback Suppression processor and 231V graphic equalizer are used to ensure that the system sounds its very best. Martin LightJockey 2 lighting control software and M-DMX interface offer control of up to 100 DMX fixtures for creating dynamic, immersive lighting during events.

SANYA, China—To provide guests with an unparalleled experience of undersea immersion, China’s new Atlantis Sanya resort deployed an array of cutting-edge HARMAN audio, video, lighting and control systems.

Located in the city of Sanya on China’s Hainan island, Atlantis Sanya is the latest Atlantis-themed resort operated by Kerzner International. The resort’s 52-story luxury hotel boasts over 1,300 guest rooms, including extravagant underwater suites that look out into the resort’s massive Lost Chambers aquarium. The vast Aquaventure waterpark occupies nearly 200,000 square meters and includes waterslides that pass through the aquarium, in addition to snorkeling, scuba diving and live dolphin and sea lion interactions. Other amenities include well-equipped conference rooms and banquet halls for meetings and events, an upscale shopping center and a total of 13 different restaurants and bars. Many of the hotel’s rooms and suites feature surround-sound entertainment systems with recessed JBL loudspeakers in the walls and ceilings for spacious, immersive sound. NEW BRUNSWICK, Canada—SC Media Canada and Ivan’s Audio-Visual recently outfitted Moncton, New Brunswick’s new state-of-the-art Avenir Centre arena with a complete HARMAN Professional Solutions audio system.

Avenir Centre is an 8,800-seat multi-use arena that is home to the Moncton Wildcats hockey team and Moncton Magic and basketball team. Although it primarily serves as a sports arena, Avenir Centre also hosts performances by renowned acts like Keith Urban and Jerry Seinfeld in addition to speaking events, trade shows and more. To provide exceptional sound quality for a wide range of entertainment and events, the arena needed a powerful audio system that could deliver even and highly-controlled sound coverage. To meet these objectives, SC Media Canada and Ivan’s Audio-Visual designed and deployed an end-to-end HARMAN system featuring JBL VRX line arrays, Crown DriveCore amplifiers, BSS BLU signal processors, and Soundcraft mixers.

“Hockey arenas require a robust sound system with a huge amount of SPL to overcome a crowd of more than 8,000 screaming fans,” said Brad Fox, Account Representative at SC Media. “We wanted the system to deliver as much energy into the seats as possible, while avoiding reflection off the roof and walls of the arena. You also need a lot of bass impact to give music extra thump and reinforce the energy of hits against the glass. Leveraging our expertise in arena installations, we delivered a cutting-edge HARMAN audio system that came in under budget, while also meeting the performance requirements of an NHL-level stadium.”

The arena’s main sound system consists of 58 JBL VRX932LA line array loudspeakers and four high-output ASB6128 subwoofers. Four PD595 two-way loudspeakers provide coverage for the arena floor. A total of 167 JBL Control-series loudspeakers, including Control 65P/T, 64P/T, 14C/T, and 23-1 models, distribute audio to the facility’s many locker rooms, dressing rooms, press boxes, lounges, and other spaces.

“The linchpin of the whole project was the VRX,” explained Fox. “We were looking for something with specific horizontal and vertical dispersion patterns, and VRX fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to install and has a ton of output for its size, too. The advantage of VRX is a combination of all of those features and its small footprint.”

Amplification is provided by 13 Crown DCi-series power amplifiers, including six DCi 4|2400N units for the main arrays, one DCi 4|600N for the full-range speakers and six DCi 8|300N models for the distributed audio system. BSS BLU signal processors route audio throughout the facility with a flexible digital architecture, controlled by EC-4BV wall-mounted control units in the locker rooms, press boxes, and other spaces. Audio in the arena is mixed on a Soundcraft Si Impact digital console connected to the BSS network by an SI-BLU Card. The facility’s dedicated press interview room features a compact, rack-mounted Soundcraft UI16 digital mixer controlled by a mobile device.

“We worked closely with SC Media Canada and the engineers at HARMAN to design the main sound system in the arena, as well as the facility’s distributed audio system,” said Serge Goguen, Integration Specialist at Ivan’s Audio-Visual. “The criteria for the system was outlined to very tight specifications for loudness and coverage. We modeled the system before the installation, and it far exceeded the minimum requirements. And after installation, the HARMAN system actually exceeded the modeled performance. The customer is very happy with the system’s coverage, loudness and impact.”

The Opportunity:

Operating nine hotels throughout the Philippines, Seda Hotels are designed to offer quality accommodations in a high-energy central location within an Ayala Land master planned mixed-used development. A fusion of function and art, each hotel provides modern comforts and conveniences combined with the best of Filipino hospitality.

Located in the up and coming lifestyle and business hub in Quezon City and a few steps away from two major malls in the city, Seda Vertis North boasts 438 guest rooms, a 450-capacity ballroom, five meeting rooms, extensive lunch and dinner buffets, a roof deck bar, pool bar, spa, fully-equipped fitness center, swimming pool and a Presidential Suite.

The hotel’s public address system needed a comprehensive, modern upgrade that could distribute high-fidelity audio seamlessly throughout the complex.

The Solution:

In order to meet these goals, Seda hired Intellismart to design an end-to-end networked audio system made up of JBL, AKG, Crown, Soundcraft and BSS solutions.

Intellismart installed low-profile JBL speakers throughout the premises, which are powered by robust Crown amplifiers. Soundcraft digital mixers allow hotel staff to easily adjust the sound across the entire facility, and AKG microphones AKG microphones enable them to make announcements with crystal clarity. The system is controlled by a network of BSS DSP units, which route high-resolution audio fluidly throughout the building. JBL 24CT recessed ceiling speakers provide plenty of power in the Quezon Ballroom without intruding on the elegant décor. The ballroom can be partitioned into three smaller spaces for different types of events, and the speakers can be divided into zones for independent control. Inputs in the floor allow staff to patch the audio system for additional sound reinforcement.

HARMAN Professional Solutions Brings World-Class Sound To India’s Urban Foundry Eatery

PUNE, India—Munro Acoustics recently outfitted The Urban Foundry’s new location in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar neighborhood with an end-to-end HARMAN audio system.

With several locations in Mumbai and Pune in India’s Maharashtra state, The Urban Foundry is a unique bar and eatery with an industrial aesthetic that incorporates brick, metal and glass materials. The Foundry’s new location features a performance area for live music, but the highly reflective surfaces in the restaurant made it difficult to control the sound. In order to solve this challenge, management hired acoustic consultancy firm Munro Acoustics to design and install an end-to-end HARMAN Professional audio system comprised of JBL loudspeakers, Crown amplifiers and a Soundcraft mixer.

“We wanted our new location in Pune to be different from the others, so we added a performance space for live music,” said Kishore Shetty, General Manager of Operations for The Urban Foundry. “This presented a challenge, as we had to ensure quality sound for performances while retaining our signature industrial design. We chose to work with HARMAN Professional Solutions and Munro Acoustics because they understood our situation better than anyone else. The service was great, the process quick and it was our easiest installation yet. The sound quality here has exceeded my expectations, thanks to the experts at HARMAN and Munro Acoustics.”

The Munro Acoustics team selected two full-range JBL AM7215 15” 2-way loudspeakers for the main array, supplemented by six JBL AC16 ultra-compact 6” speakers as side-fills. JBL ASB6118 subwoofers with 18” Super Vented Gap (SVG) drivers provide high output and extended bandwidth for a full low-end response. To power the system, Munro deployed Crown CDi DriveCore 4|300 power amplifiers. For a streamlined mixing and monitoring solution, Munroe paired the compact Soundcraft EPM 6 mixer with JBL EON610 monitors.

“The floor-to-ceiling metal posed a major challenge to the acoustics of the space,” said Kapil Thirwani, Partner at Munro Acoustics. “Our client emphasized the importance of live music at The Foundry, requesting that we make the space as performance-friendly as possible. The hard surfaces throughout the space produced ringing reflections, so we had to position the speakers precisely to cover the audience with minimum interference from the room. Based on the design, our integrator Audio and Acoustic’s led by Prashant Nair recommended the new Application Engineering (AE) series loudspeakers by JBL specific for fixed install. This is the first time we’ve used the AE Series loudspeakers, and we’re extremely happy with the results. They’re easy to use and specially engineered for permanent installations, with a wide selection of models incorporating the latest loudspeaker technology. Plus, they’re easy to tune as needed.”

Secret Solstice Music Festival, Iceland

Held in Reykjavík during a period of 24-hour sunlight in the Arctic Circle, the annual music festival features non-stop performances across four outdoor stages and an indoor club venue. Festival organizers hired HljóðX to provide sound and lighting systems for all five venues that could accommodate the festival‘s diverse lineup of high profile artists, including Slayer, Gucci Mane, Bonnie Tyler and Steve Aoki. HljóðX outfitted each stage with JBL VTX V-Series line array loudspeakers, Crown I-tech amplifiers, Soundcraft mixers and Martin lighting fixtures.

“The event environment is fast-paced, and being able to set up and connect the sound system in a very short time and get started quickly with great-sounding JBL presets is important for us,” said Ingolfur Arnarsson, CEO of HljóðX. “That gives us additional time to work on the audio and further tweak each system for the best sound for each act. That’s an important aspect that we really like in the JBL system.”

HljóðX equipped the outdoor stages with JBL VTX V25-II loudspeakers and S28 suspended subwoofers, Crown I-Tech 12000HD and 4x3500HD amplifiers, and BSS OMNIDRIVE HD signal processing. Soundcraft digital mixing consoles integrated seamlessly with the system, which made it easy for sound engineers to adapt to different sets throughout the day. The indoor club venue was all set up with VTX A12 for the opportunity to drive the music full force by demand.

“It is a true joy to work with the VTX 25 at a festival like this,” said Axel Flex Arnason, Sound Engineer at Secret Solstice. “At my stage I’m confronted with a very broad spectrum of music, from a live band playing soft soul music to aggressive hip hop, often with a lot going on in the lower frequencies. The VTX system gave me an even palette to work with, delivering beautiful, undistorted sound quality through the entire spectrum at loud volume.”

“We ran the system full range to have more even coverage on the low end,“ said Eyvindur Eggertsson, project manager at HljóðX sound division. “That supported the sound of all the different artists who performed with very nice results.“

Martin MAC Aura XB Wash fixtures provided bright illumination to compete with the midnight sun, and their compact design and low power consumption was ideal for running multiple stages efficiently. HljóðX used the Rush MH3 for narrow, long-throw beam lighting and spectacular mid-air effects. Atomic 3000 LED strobe lights amped up the energy.

BANGKOK, Thailand—Mahajak Development Co. recently deployed an end-to-end HARMAN Professional Solutions AV system at Bank of Thailand’s Learning Center library and museum.

Bank of Thailand is the central financial body overseeing all monetary policy in Thailand. Across the road from its Bangkhunprom Palace headquarters, the Bank recently established a Learning Center complex in its former mint facility. The five-story building contains the Prince Vivadhanajaya Library, dedicated presentation rooms and research areas, a banquet hall and the Bank of Thailand Museum, which offers guided tours and interactive exhibits about the history of Thai currency. The Learning Center required a flexible, integrated audiovisual solution that could be expanded and reconfigured as needed. To meet these goals, Bank of Thailand hired Mahajak Development to design a complete HARMAN Professional AV solution consisting of JBL loudspeakers, Crown amplifiers, Soundcraft mixers, BSS signal processors, AMX control systems and Martin lighting fixtures.

“The idea was to create an interactive environment in the Learning Center using high-tech scalable solutions to ensure our future needs are met as the Center grows and changes,” said the spokesperson for Bank of Thailand. “The interactive exhibitions required clear speech reproduction, eye-catching visuals and advanced control systems to run it all seamlessly. For large events in the banquet hall and library, JBL VT4888 and AC599 loudspeakers with SRX812P and ASB7128 subwoofers project powerful, high fidelity sound. In the library’s presentation rooms, JBL AC195 full-range speakers and Control 16C/T ceiling units provide even coverage for mid-size audiences. The museum’s smaller exhibits utilize JBL LSR305 studio monitors and E55BT wireless headphones for private listening and audio assistance. Control 28-1 loudspeakers and SB-150 wireless subwoofers provide wide coverage for background music in the entrance hall. The system is powered by Crown I-Tech HD and DCi Series amplifiers. Soundcraft Si Impact digital mixers allow staff to easily make adjustments. Audio is routed through a network of BSS BLU-100 signal processors with flexible digital architecture that can be reconfigured as needed.

To enable seamless AV control, Mahajak outfitted the facility with a network of integrated AMX systems. DVX-2250HD presentation switchers and DGX digital media switchers form the core of the system, connected by DX-TX-DWP transmitters and DX-RX receivers. MSD-701 touch panels and the TPControl iPad app provide staff, presenters and guests with tactile interfaces for controlling various interactive features. Martin MAC Aura and Quantum Profile fixtures create an immersive lighting experience in the banquet hall and museum exhibits.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida.—TM Sound & Lighting recently updated Florida’s historic Jungle Queen with a complete HARMAN audio solution provided by Kor Media & Lighting to provide a premium live entertainment experience for guests.

Since 1935, more than 18 million visitors have embarked on Fort Lauderdale’s world-famous Jungle Queen riverboat cruise and dinner attraction for an afternoon and evening of sailing and sightseeing through the “Venice of America” to a luxury private island, where guests are treated to America’s longest running variety show. The show features performances by jugglers and stand-up comics, and a live performance of classic songs by a world-class live band. In order to provide premium sound quality with clarity and presence for such a wide range of performances, Jungle Queen hired TM Sound & Lighting to replace their aging sound system with a state-of-the-art sound reinforcement solution from HARMAN Professional Solutions.

“It’s a privilege to supply a sound system for an attraction as famous and historic as Jungle Queen’s sightseeing cruise and dinner show,” said Thomas Mannino, President of TM Sound & Lighting. “Jungle Queen’s previous sound system lacked convincing stage presence and the speaker placement wasn’t strategic. The new HARMAN sound system, which delivers the kind of coverage and stage presence needed to provide audiences with an impactful entertainment experience. The owners are extremely happy.”

The variety show performances take place on Jungle Queen’s outdoor stage when weather conditions are favorable. Mannino’s team outfitted Jungle Queen’s outdoor stage with JBL AE Series all-weather AW526 and AW295 loudspeakers. An AW129 loudspeaker was utilized for the outside stage monitor. The AE Series speakers provide powerful output and extraordinary clarity for the wide range of performances hosted by Jungle Queen, while resisting the unpredictable Florida weather. To supply clean and reliable power to the AW526 and AW295 speakers, Mannino included a Crown CDi 4000 two-channel amplifier.

“The speakers on the outdoor stage need to withstand being outside all of the time without being covered,” continued Mannino. “We installed JBL all-weather speakers because they’re a great speaker for a variety of outdoor applications. These speakers can withstand any element you throw at them—including sun, wind, rain and snow. Not only will they survive, they will still sound as good as the day you bought them.”

The Jungle Queen variety show is regularly moved to the indoor stage when weather conditions warrant it. For the indoor performance area, TM Sound & Lighting installed 40 JBL Control 25AV compact loudspeakers, which provide clear sound reinforcement to the unusually wide coverage area. The Control 25AV speakers are powered by two networked Crown DriveCore Install series DCi 4|600N four-channel amplifiers, delivering eight time-aligned zones throughout the room. One JBL Control 31 was installed for a stage monitor.

The limited space of the venue leaves no room for a front-of-house mixing system in an ideal listening position. A Soundcraft Ui24R digital mixer enables Jungle Queen staff to produce professional mixes with the convenience and mobility of an iPad or any smart mobile device. This flexibility gives them the ability to quickly move the show from the indoor space to the outdoor stage without any hassle, as well as adjusting the mix on the fly from anywhere in the park.

DANANG, Vietnam—BaSao Investment recently installed a robust, all-weather HARMAN Professional Solutions audio system at Sun World Bà Nà Hills.

Situated high in the Trường Sơn Mountains, Bà Nà Hills is one of five Sun World resort destinations in Vietnam operated by Sun Group. The resort is built around a hundred-year-old French village accessed by the longest cable car system in the world, with attractions including high-end lodging and dining, extravagant gardens, a wax museum and a theme park based on the works of Jules Verne. For their daily outdoor carnival shows, Sun Group required a robust audio system that could deliver high-quality sound and complete crowd coverage, while also withstanding inclement weather. To meet these goals, BaSao Investment deployed an end-to-end HARMAN audio solution incorporating JBL all-weather loudspeakers, Crown amplifiers, dbx DriveRack processors and Soundcraft Si digital mixers.

BaSao selected JBL AW526 all-weather loudspeakers for the installation, which feature Progressive Transition waveguides for impressive 120° x 60° coverage. 500-Watt AWC15LF subwoofers extend the system’s low-frequency capability to 45Hz with the same weather-resistant construction. Crown MA 5000i amplifiers power the system with onboard analog signal processing and built-in network connectivity. For mixing tasks, BaSao took advantage of the Soundcraft Si Expression 1 console’s 64-input expansion slot to accommodate the festival’s many performers. They also chose the dbx DriveRack VENU360 loudspeaker management system to optimize and protect the system with advanced AutoEQ and AFS algorithms.

New agreement expands Fairlight’s distribution of HARMAN brands to support customer demand for audio and lighting touring solutions

LONDON—Harman Professional Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, today announced it is extending its partnership with Dutch distributor Fairlight to include tour audio solutions in the Benelux region.

This agreement is an expansion of Fairlight’s existing HARMAN distribution rights, which previously focused on Martin by HARMAN, renowned throughout the industry for its dynamic lighting solutions for the entertainment, architectural and commercial markets. The expanded agreement applies to the full range of tour audio products offered by HARMAN brands JBL, Crown, Soundcraft, dbx and BSS, providing a 360-degree solution to customers requiring both audio and lighting solutions in the touring market.

HARMAN Professional Solutions Delivers a Superior Audio Experience at Guru Nanak College

CHENNAI, India—Studio Care recently installed a complete HARMAN Professional Solutions audio system in the Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Auditorium at Guru Nanak College.

Inaugurated by President Shri Ram Nath Kovind on the school’s 42^nd annual convocation day, the 7,200-square-foot auditorium houses 900 seats and is used for various student activities, cultural programs, convocation and other ceremonies. In order to deliver clear and even audio coverage throughout the facility, Studio Care deployed an end-to-end HARMAN Professional audio solution made up of JBL Professional speakers, Crown amplification, BSS signal processors, Soundcraft digital mixing consoles and AKG microphones.

“This is a fairly large auditorium, and the client wanted a state-of-the-art audio system that could deliver clear and uniform coverage,” said Mr. S. We supplied, installed and programmed the entire solution with strong support from the HARMAN engineering team. The main audio system includes four JBL AM7315/95 loudspeakers and two ASB7128 subwoofers, as well as four AC18/26 loudspeakers for side fills and six EON612 self-powered loudspeakers for stage monitors. The loudspeakers are powered with two Crown DCi 4l1250N power amplifiers, the subwoofers are powered by a Crown DCi 4l2400N power amplifier, and the side fills are powered by a DCi 2l600N power amplifier. Audio is mixed on a Soundcraft Si Impact 32-channel digital mixing console, and AKG microphones provide exceptional clarity and intelligibility for cultural programs, lectures, demonstrations and other presentations.
